About

Senior engineer across the full stack

I build reliable, scalable systems and take ownership from implementation to production. The goal is not just to write code, but to make the product work well, stay maintainable, and keep moving.

Who I am

My journey started in high school when I built an online store for my father's business. It brought in real customers and got me hooked on solving real-world problems with technology. I later earned degrees in law and engineering, but chose software as my path.

I started with WordPress freelancing and then moved through agency and outsourcing work at LP5, TeamDev, and PioGroup. That gave me broad exposure to PHP applications, CMS-based projects, APIs, client delivery, and different team environments.

Since 2018 I have worked at WebSpellChecker, where I have owned core parts of SaaS systems across Laravel backends, Vue.js dashboard features, Stripe billing, AWS infrastructure, Docker-based delivery, and CI/CD pipelines.

What I enjoy most is bringing structure to messy systems, improving performance, and making delivery safer and easier. I also like mentoring developers and pushing for simple engineering decisions that hold up over time.

Outside of work, I lift weights, hike in the mountains around Spain, and spend time with my family. I enjoy Linux, open-source tools, and hardware projects when time allows.

Professional experience

Most of my work sits between product thinking and implementation: modernizing legacy systems, simplifying delivery, improving architecture, and shipping features that support real business goals.

2018 — Present

Senior Full-Stack Engineer at WebSpellChecker

Owning core SaaS systems across Laravel backends, Vue.js product features, Stripe billing, AWS infrastructure, Docker-based delivery, CI/CD pipelines, performance work, and modernization of legacy services.

2016 — 2018

Full-Stack and backend work across agency environments

Worked at TeamDev and PioGroup on client and internal projects involving PHP, Laravel, WordPress, React, Vue.js, APIs, plugins, and CMS-based solutions for companies including DHL Consulting and Artnet.

2015 — 2016

Early freelance and product work

Started with freelance WordPress and PHP projects, building custom sites, backend features, and responsive interfaces while learning how to deliver production work for real businesses.

Core technologies

I prefer straightforward tools and clear architecture over fashionable complexity. The stack should help the product move faster and stay maintainable.

  • Laravel
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • Redis
  • REST APIs
  • Vue.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • JavaScript
  • AWS
  • Docker

How I work

I care about the outcome, not just the output. Simple solutions that scale well, clear communication, and engineering decisions that stay maintainable over time.

  • Comfortable working independently and in distributed teams
  • Strong ownership from architecture to production deployment
  • Pragmatic about trade-offs — ship, learn, iterate
  • Clear technical communication with both engineers and stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement without chasing hype
